Welcome
Thank you for visiting my website. I hope that you will find useful information about how psychotherapy can help improve the relationship between your mind and body, make desired changes, and feel calmer and happier.
I specialize in working with adults with stress, anxiety, depression, and disordered eating. I help individuals integrate mind and body, balance self-care with care for others, and develop healthy relationships with themselves, others, and food. I collaborate with clients to identify and work toward realistic goals in the context of a supportive relationship.
My goal is to help clients to increase awareness of mind-body connections and to facilitate effective communication between mind and body. The way that you talk to yourself and your body affects your feelings and behavior. Listening to and taking care of your body helps in experiencing greater peace of mind. For more information, see Why Mind Body Psychotherapy?
I utilize a number of different approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, stress management, relaxation techniques, and hypnosis. For more information on these strategies, see Psychotherapy Approach.
Please contact me if you have any questions. I would be happy to talk to you about how we could work together to achieve your goals.
